My workload this week has primarily revolved around wireframing. We’ve got some new projects cooking at Bergman Group, which means a heavy focus on information architecture and list-making. The organizational freak in me loves this stage in website creation. Putting all of the pieces of a new site together and laying the framework for design is a step we don’t always get to do, due to time constraints, but I always feel the strongest sites start here.
I’m feeling extra-inspired this morning – last night I had the opportunity to talk with business owners in the Plaza District at The Barn about all things web. We had some good discussions about effectiveness of various social media platforms, concluding that every business needs to use those tools so differently to be effective in their market. Working from home has a lot of perks, but getting out of my little isolated bubble to talk shop feels oh-so-good.
